Robotics

Our Robotics programme exposes you to more than traditional robotics and does not only involve automation principles, but also smart systems, transforming robotics from 3IR to 4IR. The latter is achieved by incorporating IoT concepts into the course.

During this programme, simulations are used to get you comfortable with the main concepts of building and programming robots. You will also engage in building physical robots based on Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

This programme bridges the gap between conventional programming techniques and the rapidly evolving open source framework for advanced robots, ROS (Robot Operating Systems).

Recommended Prior Knowledge:

Fundamental knowledge of Arduino hardware and IDE; a working knowledge of Raspberry Pi
